Piano People is returning to London’s DRUMSHEDS on Sunday 29th November 2026, bringing a new concept to the global Amapiano platform with its first-ever BACK2BACK line-up.
Following two sold-out outdoor festivals in the capital, the event will deliver nine hours of uninterrupted music, pairing some of the most exciting names in South African dance music.
Headlining the event is South Gidi, the collaborative project bringing together DJ Maphorisa and DJ Tunez. The line-up also features a series of specially curated back-to-back sets, including 2woBunnies B2B Thuto The Human, DJ LAG B2B General C’Mamane, DJ Phaphane B2B Skyla Tylaa, JussGigi B2B W4DE and Nésa Thea B2B CRUZ CTRL. Mfana Touchline will also appear, with Malume MC and Xavier hosting proceedings.
While DJ Maphorisa is a familiar face on Piano People stages, the event marks the first headline outing for South Gidi. The project brings together sounds from West and South Africa, building on the acclaimed record created by DJ Tunez, DJ Maphorisa, Wizkid and Mavo.

The show marks Piano People’s return to DRUMSHEDS following its standout takeover during the venue’s opening season. Located in a former IKEA warehouse in Tottenham, the venue is one of Europe’s largest club spaces, making it a fitting home for a platform that has championed the global reach of Amapiano since 2021.
This latest event follows a landmark summer for Piano People in London. In May, High Lights Festival took over Barking Park, welcoming thousands of fans for more than ten hours of music across three stages. Scorpion Kings, comprising Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, were at the centre of the sold-out event, delivering their biggest UK performance to date.
Piano People returned to Southwark Park in August for the third and biggest edition of Piano People In The Park. The sold-out festival continued the platform’s push to bring Amapiano into major outdoor spaces, connecting UK audiences with the artists, sounds and culture shaping South African dance music.

Beyond London, Piano People’s international schedule continues to grow, with two major events planned in South Africa. The platform will also return to Afro Nation Portugal next summer, with its celebrated Piano People Stage taking over Praia da Rocha from 9th to 11th June 2027.
The first announcement for the Portugal festival includes Kabza De Small and TxC, alongside special guest Dlala Thukzin, as Amapiano returns to one of the leading international celebrations of Afrobeats, Amapiano and global Black culture.
For its November return to DRUMSHEDS, however, the focus is firmly on collaboration. Rather than relying on a traditional festival line-up, BACK2BACK will see artists share the decks throughout the nine-hour event, creating space for musical exchanges and one-off moments.
With sold-out festivals behind it and international dates ahead, Piano People continues to push its mission of taking Amapiano to new audiences around the world.
Piano People at DRUMSHEDS takes place on Sunday 29th November 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
