DJ AG Launches Free Sound System Scheme for UK Artists | @relentlessenergydrink

UK DJ and community champion DJ AG has just announced a major new initiative in partnership with Relentless Energy and Pirate Studios, and it’s all about giving back to the culture.

From now until mid-December 2025, aspiring artists, DJs, and music collectives across the UK can apply to get their hands on free professional sound system rentals. That means no more stressing about equipment costs or scrambling for gear. This scheme is built to level the playing field and support the next wave of talent.

What’s in the package?

Successful applicants will receive:

  • An all-in-one Pioneer DJ controller
  • Two powered pro speakers with subwoofers
  • All the essential setup, ready to bring the vibes to your event

The gear will be available for pick-up at Pirate Studios locations in London, Birmingham, and Leeds.

Why is DJ AG doing this?

Known for his guerrilla-style sets and community-first ethos, AG says this project is about removing barriers and opening doors.

“Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to build an amazing network and have always felt a responsibility to give back. This project is a direct way for me to support. It’s about more than just equipment—it’s about providing the tools for people to express themselves and build their own scenes, without the financial stress.” – DJ AG

How to get involved

Applying is simple:

  1. Head to the Pirate Studios website
  2. Fill out an application form with details about your proposed event and preferred dates
  3. Wait to hear back. Successful applicants will get pickup and drop-off details from Pirate Studios.

On top of that, a limited number of free studio vouchers will also be up for grabs, giving artists the chance to refine their craft on professional gear inside Pirate Studios’.

This project forms part of Relentless’ Freeform platform, which champions creative freedom and supports underground communities. To take things further, DJ AG will also be hosting a one-off mentorship session for aspiring DJs, producers, and MCs as part of the Relentless Freeform Forum, with full details dropping in October.
