Antslive, Sherelle, Troy Roscoe and AZ are partnering with Relentless to give 12 young creatives the chance to earn a £10,000 creative fund from July-October 2024.

This year, the FreeForm Forum, founded by Relentless, is in collaboration with Pirate Studios and aims to empower young creators to break barriers and create in their own way with coaching from industry professionals. MOBO-nominated rapper Antslive will be leading the charge, alongside dance music DJ and community studio founder Sherelle. Burna Boy’s favourite film director Troy Roscoe is also joining the line-up with the all-round visual creative Ayshe Zaifoglu (AZ).

‘Music Artist’ with Antslive aims to help focus on stage presence, crafting an EP and perfecting your flow.

‘Music Production’ with Sherelle will also focus on curating an EP, but touching on her skillset of making beats and mixing.

‘Creative’ with AZ will focus on visual storytelling and creative direction. She will teach how to create a stand-out brand and very useful editing skills.

‘Filmmaking’ with Troy Roscoe will aim to help teach aspiring film directors to take their videos up a notch by teaching helpful editing skills to creative direction for particular artists.

One mentee will leave the program with a £10,000 grant to help support their creative future. The winner will be carefully selected by just one criteria. If they pushed the most boundaries to make their vision a reality, perfectly summing up Freeform Forum.

“Freeform Forum is for people who want to rip up the rule book and create something totally unique and different. I’m looking forward to taking my mentees through what this means to me as an artist, and how this can help them on their creative journey in the music industry.”

– Antslive

This year, FreeForm Forum is open to the public on Discord, encouraging networking, peer learning and discussion whilst offering a chance for like-minded creative people to connect. ‘Skills Hub’ which is also located on the site, offers great advice from industry leaders on how to navigate challenges within your creative field.
