Spotify have launched the ‘Day 1 Club’, a brand new interactive experience for fans of its iconic ‘Rap UK’ playlist. The experience invites fans to discover the UK rap artists they have been supporting from day one to verify their OG status.

With over 1.2 million followers, ‘Rap UK’ is the home of the very best of UK Rap & Drill – genres that have seen exponential growth since the playlist’s launch in April 2017. For rap connoisseurs it’s long been the place to listen to the hottest and biggest tracks from the world of UK Rap, with artists such as StormzyStormzy, Aitch and 2022’s Mercury Prize Winner Little Simz regularly featured. And now, with ‘Day 1 Club’, fans can discover and prove which artists they’ve been supporting since day one!

The interactive experience showcases listener status as one of 4 tiers: Active, Certified, Top Tier, or for the most hardcore fans – OG Levels. Fans can then share their results on social media to drive real bragging rights with their crew of friends and family.
