On March 8th, 2025, Spice Army emerged victorious at Red Bull Culture Clash, securing their place as the new champions of UK sound system culture. With 10,000 fans packed into London’s DRUMSHEDS, the atmosphere was electric for the four crews all stacked with great talent.
- Voice of the Streets (VOTS), led by Kenny Allstar, featured a formidable team including Big Narstie, Bushkin, Cristale, DJ AG, DJ Andy P, Ghetts, and Snoochie Shy.
- Native, fronted by Lagos-born artist and label owner Teezee, showcased NSG, Spinall, Pa Salieu, and Michael Dapaah, bringing a fresh Afro-fusion sound to the clash.
- Homegrown, led by DJ and radio host Jyoty, curated an elite crew with Conducta, Flowdan, Lil Silva, and Stush.
- Spice Army, captained by the queen of Dancehall, Spice, delivered an explosive lineup featuring Jiggy D, Loyal Squad, Mak 10, Noah Powa, Rampage Sound, and Richie Feelings.
Spice Army’s path to victory was paved with exclusive dubplates from music legends Sting, Giggs, and Vybz Kartel, setting the crowd alight with energy. The defining moment, however, came with surprise performances from Chip and D Double E, igniting a wave of excitement. As the final round approached, Skrapz and Lady Leshurr took the stage, sealing the win in a moment of pure sound system mastery as thousands of flags filled the air.
Alongside the prestigious Red Bull Culture Clash trophy, originally designed by Goldie 15 years after his own Metalheadz crew took the title, the winners received a new and exclusive reward. In collaboration with London’s renowned A Jewellers, the Spice Army crew will be awarded custom designed championship rings, symbolizing their dominance in one of the most competitive sound clashes in history.
With their victory secured and the title to defend, Spice Army has set a new standard for Red Bull Culture Clash. The question now is: who will step up to challenge them next?
