Browny Pondis – Sweet
Sweet is an up-tempo Afrobeats banger, launched with homegrown visuals with a celebratory message: “It’s me being thankful for where I am in life and looking back to how things were: I’m thanking God for his grace”.
ArrDee – Flowers (Say My Name)
Centred around two iconic samples – that of Garage song ‘Flowers’ by Sweet Female Attitude and R&B hit ‘Say My Name’ by Destiny’s Child. ‘Flowers (Say My Name)’ sees ArrDee deliver trademark slick bars amidst punchy drill beats and infectious vocals.
Decorated with colourful textures, British Zambian artist Essii calls on LA based rapper Coi Leray’s dynamic flow for ‘Brown Eyes’, a Soft Pop/R&B track. Accompanied by its playful visual, the pair’s chemistry breathes new life into the track as they celebrate finding confidence in their femininity.
Santino Le Saint – Ride or Die/Hurricane
A double sided single – ‘Ride or Die’ is a modern day Bonnie & Clyde anthem and ‘Hurricane’ is a stripped back love ballad inspired by a power cut. Both are Santino’s last singles ahead of debut album this month!
