Kiwi & Yam, an urban streetwear brand that exudes vibrancy hosted their first major sold out event. A ‘Day Party and Pop Up’. It was home to a few other brands such as FLVR Apparel, Stylebox and CupsPrinted.
It was a great scene for everyone to mingle, enjoy the company of good people and good vibes. Of course what would a party be without cocktails and some good soul food? They had everything from grilled chicken to mac n cheese, jollof rice and even suya. Surprisingly!
Series of DJ’s for the likes of A.G Dj and Snoochieshy who got the crowed moving and warmed up for the show with their amazing eclectic mixes.
The young rising talent Mulla was first to take the stage with his first single ‘She moving’. The confidence in his performance has shown great growth and we look forward to seeing him develop in his craft.

Captivating the crowd instantly. Soulful vibes from Tops Mafioso took us back to the old hip hop days. His smooth groove along with his introspective poetic lyrics and flow reminds us of J Cole’s classic West Coast vibes. Besides making his mark, we believe he is one to watch in the near future.
Tee The Singer has done it yet again, serving us with the sauce. She brought out her sister to perform a song they wrote together proceeding in letting us know how it’s about “them Instagram girls that get a few likes here and there, then think their all that” (said with frustration and annoyance). As usual Tee The Singer brought the sass and got the crowd singing along to her first single ‘Cha Cha’ a lyrically catchy trap infused salsa rhythm that by the end, would have you know all the lyrics to.
Shauna Shadae brought the heat, she literally lit up the stage. Her beautiful voice on the latest track ‘Mi Like’ a mix of Drake’s ‘Controlla’ was a hit on the night. You already knew a few dance moves where bound to be seen.
A surprise appearance by SNE joining Shauna Shadae with a rap verse definitely delivered the Islands to us. Extremely excited in looking forward to what she has to bring us next.

The night was not over yet, rather it just got started. Dj Predz took the stage. He was buzzing, full of energy that made you want to dance and sing along. His adlibs ‘the hype was real’ got the crowd exuding with energy and made us feel as if we were in the Caribbean Islands.
Overall, it was clear-cut that BennyBoy Events and Kiwi & Yam teamed up to put on a great event, supporting UK brands and amazing developing talent.
This definitely leaves us with high hopes for the next one!
