A series of exhibitions are to be held at OUTERNET over the duration of Black History Month, opening on October 3.
PIONEERS OF THE SCREEN
To honour Black icons in film, TV and digital media, this exhibition with graphics curated by Sam Sheridan will showcase John Boyega, Naomie Harris, Thandiwe Newton, and visionary directors like Steve McQueen, Destiny Ekaragha, and Michaela Coel. Digital pioneers, including the late Jamal Edwards of SBTV. Also, GenB TV, the UK’s largest Black British TV platform.

BLACK HEROES
12 influential figures chosen by young people are to be celebrated in this exhibition, alongside the powerful spoken word piece ‘They Walked So We Could Run’ written by Chrissie Okorie and performed by Jenomé.
