Hi, what are you looking for?

Following last summer’s critically acclaimed Pillow Therapy EP, which amassed over a million streams on Spotify alone and was championed by the likes of Clash Magazine, NOTION and Mixtape Madness, building on recent support he has received from BBC 1Xtra, Red Bull Music, Capital Xtra, MTV Base, OkayAfrica and Earmilk among others, fast-rising South London afrofusion artist and songwriter NIZZY is back with an exquisite new EP titled Love N Rhythmz, which arrives just in time to provide the soundtrack for summer 2021.

Produced by Kai The Producer, Ritzybeats and AJ Productions, who has also worked with Tion Wayne, Ms Banks, Darkoo and KSI among others, with Nizzy executive producing the 7-track project with Nii Saul aka Fli5star (J Hus, NSG, Afro B, Kida Kudz), the Love N Rhythmz EP is an afrofusion masterclass, which sees Nizzy merging R&B, afroswing, dancehall, afrobeats and pop sensibilities together to glorious effect, underpinned by infectious melodies, smooth vocals and irresistible musicality, in ways that only the British Nigerian native knows how to.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the Love N Rhythmz EP, Nizzy says, “the project is about love and good vibes, I was trying to capture that summertime feeling we’ve all had that’s full of love experiences. This project is what my love life sounds like, my world is full of happiness, sweet love and good energy, and I was trying to put all that energy together into an exciting musical experience for listeners. This record means a lot to me, and I wanted to show people the other side of my afrofusion sound after ‘Pillow Therapy’ last year”.
