Jorday drops “Closer” part 2 featuring Geko | @RealGeko @Jordaytweets

Having made a buzz with his first few releases, rising UK R&B artist Jorday wastes no time, following up his hugely popular single “Closer” with an official ‘Part 2’ featuring Geko.

Already clocking in over 800k streams on Spotify alone, “Closer” was already a hit with many – with its dancehall flair and club bounce and topped with Jorday’s unmistakable vocals that are sensual and slick to the ear. Taking it to the next level, this new single cut features Geko, one of the hottest acts in the scene right, who graces the track with a verse laced in his Casanova charm.

Born in Holland and raised in UK, Jorday has been expressing himself through song since the age of 7 as a vocalist in his church choir. Immersed in various sounds growing up, from Michael Jackson and Whitney Huston to Party Next Door and Tory Lanez, all have had a profound impact on his artistry.

With previous singles “Dancer” and “Luv U Back” already establishing Jorday as an act to pay close attention to, he kicks off 2020 in the strongest form, ready to dominate the scene.  His signature blend of vibrant pop, R&B & dancehall has been perfected and will be an undeniable reason to believe in Jorday as a serious force to come.
