After the soaring success of ‘Rumours’, the Queen of Drill Ivorian Doll returns with explosive new single ‘Body Bag’, out now.
Underpinned by a cold drill beat produced by NV, ‘Body Bag’ sees Ivorian Doll live up to her billing – effortlessly combining hard-hitting delivery with uncompromising lyrics. It also comes with a bold Barbie-themed official video, an ode to Nicki Minaj which sees IVD and her troupe hold no prisoners and putting the track’s title into practice.
“‘Body Bag’ is a track that makes me feel confident!” she enthuses. “It’s a song that allows females to feel on top of the world and confident in their talent. Writing ‘Body Bag’ was very fun and exciting. I couldn’t wait for the world to hear it. The track has energetic and bold lyrics that even have the boys bopping their heads. It’s a track that will definitely be the one to go off in the clubs.”
Producer NV adds: “When I first heard what Ivorian Doll had done on ‘Body Bag’ I was gobsmacked by the delivery and conviction she brought to the track, making the beat itself sound 10x better.”
‘Body Bag’ follows April’s ‘Rumours’, a single that has already amassed over 6 million streams across all DSPs, half of which have been attained by the official video on IVD’s own YouTube channel that boasts almost 100K subscribers. The track addresses false accusations that have been spread about her during her rise through the ranks. Following this, she featured on official remix of S1MBA’s gold-certified single ‘Rover’, with the remix pushing the track to #3 in the UK Charts.
Not stopping there, Ivorian Doll delivered an outstanding performance at Wireless Connect Festival a few weeks back, receiving rave reviews. Attracting a strong social media audience, the Germany-born, London-based rapper, influencer, and artist runs her own world – brimming with confidence and ambition.
Marking the next chapter in the story of Ivorian Doll, ‘Body Bag’ proves that the Queen of Drill is here to stay.
