Ray Niro – Hero or Villain Ray Niro deciphers the difference of being a hero or villain in the hood he grew up in. He emphasizes that being a hood hero is to be a natural hustler in any lane you chose to follow. He also states that he does music for more than just the money, but to also make his way outside of the hood and feed his family. Alternatively, being a hood villain takes its toll. From selling drugs to escaping near death, he compares and contrasts the two and asks the question: Am I the hood’s hero or the hood’s villain? The video gives a clear contrast of his lyrics by the first half of the video shows him in the sunshine besides palm trees and greenery, whereas the second half of the video portrays him back in the gritty estate in South Tottenham, flaunting his jewelry and popping black bottles.
