Dizzee Rascal Brings Nostalgia and Energy to ‘Boy In the Corner’ Anniversary Show at O2 Arena | @DizzeeRascal

Grime Hall of Fame MC, Dizzee Rascal marked his 20th anniversary of his ground-breaking debut album Boy In Da Corner. He performed tracks from his iconic album at the headline show at The O2 Arena, London on 8 March 2023.

Dizzee Rascal gave fans a great show with surprise guest performances alongside JME and D Double E.

It was great to see fans of all ages supporting his show. Everyone was loving it.

It was a medley of  greatest hit  from  ‘Junkie’, ‘Dance Wiv Me’, and Balearic cheese of ‘Holiday’ and a finally ‘Bonkers’.

JME, Lady Leshur and Backroad Gee all took the stage and performed individually for the fans.

One of the Grime Pioneers, now 38,  released ‘Boy In Da Corner’ aged just 18 back in 2003. Dizzee Rascal won the prestigious Mercury Prize and is credited to bringing UK Grime to the masses during its peak in the mid-2000s.

‘Boy In Da Corner’ has sold over 250,000 copies and catapulted Dizzee Rascal to an international star. He has worked with some of the biggest artists in the world, including  Shakira, Robbie Williams, Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine and to name a few. He also has four UK number 1 hit singles to his name – ‘Dance Wiv Me’, ‘Bonkers’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Dirtee Disco’ – and six consecutive UK ‘Top 20’ albums – Showtime, Maths + English, Tongue ‘n’ Cheek, The Fifth, Raskit and E3 AF.
