CITY SPLASH ANNOUNCE RISING STAR AND VIRAL SENSATION MOLIY FOR THEIR 2025 LINEUP

City Splash Adds MOLIY to 2025 Lineup for London’s Biggest Celebration of African and Caribbean Music

City Splash returns to Brockwell Park on May 26th, 2025—and it’s going big. With over 30,000 attendees expected and a lineup stacked with more than 60 acts, the UK’s leading festival for African and Caribbean music is set to deliver an unforgettable experience. The newest addition to the bill? Ghanaian-American rising star MOLIY.

MOLIY: A Rising Afro-Fusion Star

Known for her fusion of West African highlife, afrobeats, and contemporary global sounds, MOLIY has built a reputation for delivering vibrant, genre-defying music. Her latest viral track, ‘Shake It To The Max’., has solidified her as one of the most exciting new voices on the global stage. Her music bridges continents and generations, blending her Ghanaian-American identity with a sound that feels both rooted and future-facing.

More Than Music: A Celebration of Culture

City Splash isn’t just about the music—it’s a full celebration of African and Caribbean culture. The festival has always given a platform to genres that are deeply embedded in London’s musical DNA, from reggae and dancehall to afrobeats and sound system culture. It’s become a must-attend for anyone who lives and breathes Black music in the UK.

Headline Acts Bringing the Heat

This year’s lineup includes major hitters like Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Spice, Valiant, Odumodublvck, and Teejay. UK legends Ms Dynamite, The Compozers, and Heartless Crew will also be taking the stage, ensuring the energy stays high from start to finish.

Sound system culture is well represented too, with Channel One, Rampage Sound, and Saxon Sound on the bill, while DJs like Jamie Rodigan, Shayna Marie, and Seani B will be setting the vibes throughout the day.

A Global Movement Rooted in Community

MOLIY’s inclusion highlights City Splash’s growing global appeal. Her sound—fierce, joyful, and full of intent—represents a new era of Afro-fusion that’s capturing hearts across continents. Her presence on the lineup reflects the festival’s commitment to platforming not just icons, but also the next wave of international Black talent.
