Alizé is a well-respected name in the urban rap scene. In his 1996 hit, Tupac Shakur, named by Rolling Stone as one of the 100 greatest artists of all time, referred to Alizé and even created a new cocktail with it: “A’ight, new drink, one part Alizé, one part Cristal. Thug Passion baby, y’all know what time it is. This drink is guaranteed to get the pussy wet and the dick hard.”
Now, over 20 years later and Alizé is still thriving in the music scene. It is a flavourful fruit liqueur you look to the top shelves in your local shop for before a night out in the city.
Alize held an event at Hoxton Basement this week Friday (23rd November). Guests enjoyed a DJ line up curated by Isaac Carter Allen – founder of Lord of the Tings, and were blessed with complimentary Alize throughout the night.
