BAPE launch new SHARK STA in 11 flag colourways | @BAPEOFFICIAL

It has been exactly 20 years since the iconic shark print first became a figurehead across fashion and music, so to celebrate, BAPE have released a new SHARK STA shoe and hoodies inspired by 11 national flags.

The designs come in multiple different colours, all featuring the iconic star logo and shark teeth print.

The shoe was first teased by Central Cee at fashion week, and is now available online here, and the Mayfair flagship store in London.

The iconic shark design is a staple of streetwear and is impossible to talk about the evolution of this sector of fashion without mentioning BAPE and its unique designs – especially the shark print which gained notoriety by often being seen on many cultural pioneers in the early 2000’s.

The 11 countries selected for a unique colourway are all being celebrated for global progression – another characteristic that really sums up BAPE and their history of design.

They are available at: uk.bape.com and BAPE store, Conduit St, Mayfair
