Not only is she a talented artist in her own right, Tems has also helped to pen some great tracks for musicians, from Lagos to London.

Tems is the name on everyone’s lips – and the feature on everyone’s track, from Drake to Wizkid. The Nigerian vocalist has been making a splash across the globe with her sumptuous voice and heartfelt lyrics. With two solid projects under her belt, “For Broken Ears” (2020) and “If Orange Was A Place” (2021), and fans in Mary J Blige and Rihanna, Tems is making big moves. So, let’s jump right in, who has Tems been lending her pen to?

Lift Me Up – Rihanna

One of the more recent tracks co-written by Tems, ‘Lift Me Up’ was part of the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It also signalled Ri’s much-awaited return to music.

Move – Beyoncé

Tems was credited as a writer on ‘Move’, from Beyoncé’s much anticipated Renaissance album, as well as featuring on the track.

WAIT FOR U – Future ft. Drake & Tems

Even though Tems had much success with ‘Higher’, from her EP For Broken Ears, many people don’t know that this track was sampled by Future for his hit with Drake, ‘WAIT FOR U.’ Tems is rightly credited on ‘WAIT FOR U’ as a writer and featured artist.
