What Is Mojo Koko?
9bills presents Mojo Kojo, an African print Streetwear brand who uses African fabrics to make funky pieces for both men and women. Mojo Kojo make clothes for the festival goers, travellers and anyone who wants to stand out with custom African themed print this summer!
What’s unique about Mojo Kojo are the symbolic motifs, for example, we have dancers, huts and masks all featured on our prints. These help to create our unique Afrocentric patterns!
Mojo Kojo also host African funk, disco and Afropop nights in conjunction with the fashion brand “Ijoya” which means “Time to Dance” in Yoruba. These events have proven very popular in Manchester and has led to the brand being featured in the Manchester press!
Mojo Kojo was inspired by the 90’s style and fashion as well as African Culture. Now the fashion brand makes this niche accessible to young people all over the UK. African print and traditional wear has been associated with formal events such as church and wedding but now you can expect these outlandish prints to be ever present as we approach festival season!
I wanted to encourage more young people to wear African print and celebrate African Culture…

Mojo Kojo hopes to take inspiration from other brands with UK Artist endorsements. A great example of this is Adidas’ collaboration with Stormzy!
